A two-part course that focuses on business readiness. You must pay for both sessions at once. Part 1 is a pre-requisite to Part 2, but they can be taken in different months. Contact Nicole at GROW if you'd like to take Part 2 in a different month. 616.458.3404.

Start Smart 1 helps participants understand what it takes to run their own business and will identify personal attributes, obstacles, and support systems that help/hinder them as they start their own business.

Start Smart II helps the participant determine profit margins, start-up costs, monthly expenses, and how to apply it to their business idea.

Registration is non-refundable. A credit will be issued in the case of participant cancellation. Credit will expire 6 months from the date of the cancellation. In the case that GROW must cancel or postpone a class, a credit or refund will be issued..
